Its a brand new year.
2010!
I think this will be the longest and wordy post in my whole blog...
so be patient will reading, cause...you might be included in this! :)

Before i start on my new year speeches, let me say how i enjoyed on my last day of 2009 :)
31st December 2009 -> 1st January 2010 New Year Countdown

After the project meeting with my MP groupmates, i went home to put down my laptop.
And meet junwei at 7:45 @ tampines to take bus 15 over to parkway parade.
Jianhua came over at 9:30pm and had dinner @ yoshinoya.
Hwee Shan came over at 9:45 and we 4 sat down and chat while waiting for ah mui.
meiyun came over and meet us at 10:45 and we took bus 36 to marina city hall :D
oh wow, the crowd over there was WOOT.
Seems like everyone is welcoming the brand new year :)

Walked over to the marina Promenade, sat down, its 11:45pm.
15min to the brand new year!
chatted and took photos ...
and the clock ticks 12am, fireworks shot up.
A wonderful 10min worth of fireworks! But these are the taxpayers money! LOL
after the fireworks, decided not to go home that fast as the crowd is crazy.
So we walked over to raffles place, made rounds and rounds due to road block.
about 1:15am, reach raffles place.
We took train home...

New year speech...

Okay, year 2009 resolutions, i didnt have it all came true. But yeah here is the checklist :)

-Increase my cGPA (Yes i did!) :)))
-Pass driving test (Yes, i got it officially on 7th april) :)))
-Make myself not to hate programming (Oh well, the hatred is still there, can be cured) =/
-Conquer 42.195km and get finisher Tshirt (YES! this is the best part! I got my sundown marathon finisher Tee XD) :)))
-Take part in bowling tournaments (Not at the moment... yet) =/
-Kill all bad habit (Sometimes i duno why i wrote this last year, how can i cure all?) =/

Year 2009 was a great year for me, apart from studies.
Friends around me has brighten up my life.

Fairprice Youths, my group of ex-colleagues friends. Never fails to brighten up my days. Totally enjoyed every single outing that we have. This shall continue and never ends! :)

KPMG colleagues, friends i made during my 5 months internship. Though the working environment is stress, but we had lots of fun there too! Made friends from NYP, NP as well as the full timers there, all have been very friendly and helpful. And the outings and celebrations!

Polytechnic Friends. It has been almost 3 years in TP. Lets not forget a class chalet this year before we guys goes for national service :D

Primary School friends. It has been almost 8 years already. Was kinda surprise that we still had a bbq+chalet session during march 2009! Going back to the days where class 6C has gathered! And get to see my classmates and not forgetting my form teacher, MISS MAZLINAH! great to see you that day :D

Busy period during the SIP period in KPMG.

5th December 2009
KPMG Dinner & Dance: You've got TALENT!
Theme: Its all about music

One week before my SIP ends, just nice there is a D&D for us to attend.
Was rather happy as i get to attend a grand company annual event at the age of 19 XD
Whereby we get to see people from different dept as well as the heads and bosses.
And a gathering with ALL of our fellow colleagues.
And also, the KPMG WONDER GIRLS LOL!
A great evening on that day!

6th December 2009
Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2009 - Volunteering

Straight after D&D. Its SCSM 2009 volunteering.
Cab-ed down and dropped off Jing Fang and Lee Sze at their place and picked up XunXiong and off we go to the meeting point for the shuttle bus for the event.
A total of 13 volunteers in my group. yes, we are a team!
Me, Junwei, Jianhua, Xunxiong, Junhao, Pohli, Hwee Shan, Meiyun, Amy, Nikita, Seow Yuan, Jean, Weimei.
overall experience was great, especially we 13 can get together a play a part for the event as well as have fun!
But not mentioning the "sai kang" we are asked to do towards the end of the event.

11th December 2009
KPMG Last Day!

After 5 months of SIP @ KPMG, it finally came to an end.
A great experience throughout this 5 months, in both good and bad.
hahahaha.
But overall, I made many friends and gained many work experience.
Thank you all colleagues and interns for all the guidance and the activities planned.
And thanks NP students for the card!
and also Raymond, Shuqi and Fanglin for the card too!

12th - 14th December 2009
Genting Trip 2009!

The long awaited trip has finally arrived!
Genting trip with Xunxiong, Hwee Shan and Meiyun.
Sadly jiejie could not make it this time.
But dun worry! There would be another overseas trip again!

Day 1: Met up and boarded the bus at 7am.
And off we go to genting!
Reached Genting at around 3pm.
Queued to check in hotel room, waited for 45min!
luckily there are ipod for entertainment :D
Checked in and unpack for 30min and met up for the trip!
Early dinner-ed at Merrybrown and then walked around.
Ate cornetto sundae, mentioning about this ... i got food poisoning -.-"
Could endure the pain during the start.
But the pain got worse during the queueing for the 4D simulator ride.
Had to delay our ride afterwards.
Thanks hwee shan and meiyun for the medicine and helping me out! :)
The pain shall not stop me from having fun this 3 days!
Time passes fast and its past midnight, need energy for day 2!
off to sleep for about 4-5hours.

Day 2: The Main Day!

The second day is always the most fun day in the 3D2N trip.
Woke up and had breakfast at first world hotel cafe buffet.
Food was average :)
except the crowd.

Queued for the theme park afterwards and off we go to the theme park!
Conquered at least 80% of all the thrill rides!
But forgeting the family rides too!
Favourite ride: Cockscrew and Space Shot :)
Long ride doesnt bore the 4 of us, we took funny photos during the queueing. Heh.
Played archery too! First and fun experience :D
Took a few other rides and off we went for lunch at Hao You Ji Express.
Food was not bad overall :)
Back to the room for a 45min rest before we continue our theme park experience!
Played the cockscrew once again! It was so fun man.
Actually we did tried out one kiddy ride in it. Some space ride. Oh well, its just the carriage moving forward and backwards -.- LOL!
Took photos and off we go!
Had our dinner and we split into 2 groups to find xiaopang's and andrew's present. Though we ended up getting xiaopang's from singapore. Hahaha.
Time passes real real fast, and its 12am already.
Met up again and went to cloud 9 bar @ Highland Hotel.
Heh, we ordered non-alcholic drinks and listened to the musics and play Tai Di over there.
Great experience!
Its 2+ in the morning, everyone is tired, back to sleep for 5hours.
That ends the day 2. How i wish time can pass slower.

Day 3: The final day
Woke up around 7:30am in the morning.
Xunxiong wants to sleep more so i went for breakfast with meiyun and hweeshan at the first world cafe.
They continued to shop for things and i bought breakfast back for xunxiong.
Went for lunch at 12am at a hongkong style.
Food was not bad, just that the chicken is kinds powdery.
Went back to packup and passed the bag to the bell counter and walked around again.
Time flies, its 2pm, we got our bags and we got into our coach for the trip back to Singapore.
Reached back in Golden Mile Singapore at around 10pm at night.
Board a cab and off to home.

A very great trip with my beloved buddies! Hope to have another trip soon man!
FP gang shall always be united :D

17th to 18th December 2009 Night Cycling

A night cycling event organized by Chun Kiat.
With 4 of his RP mates, and xunxiong, kiayee and eugene.
We embarked on a target of 100km cycling trip :D
But overall only completed 70km due to the heavy rain :(
And a crap taxi driver was seen. Damn.
But overall was great!

20th & 21st December 2009 Nokia QT Challenge Workshop

This title, shows that my major project has started.
Yes how i wish i could say "this title, shows that my majoy has came to an end"
Oh well, i shall write this on the 15th feb :D

Attended the training at NYP and coincidentally, we saw connie. LOL, our intern friend is also a participant in the competition. hahaha.
Met jeremy for lunch as he is doing his MP too.
And explored around NYP by jeremy, connie and siew wen.
Was quite an eye opening for this sch. As i havent really explored this sch. ahaha.
Overall for the training... catch no balls.
Its so damn tough to understand QT language.
lol.

21st December 2009 KPMG Bowling Outing

After leaving KPMG for 10days, Sandar organized a bowling outing! Thanks for the planning :)
A great day! And we saw interns from the previous batch too.
And the forfeit given to those who throwed to the gutter 2 times, was WOW. Heh :D
Hope to have more such events!

26th December 2009 Khee Guang's Birthday

Today we celebrate Xiaopang's birthday :)
As well as a steamboat party with jianhua, junwei, hwee shan and meiyun
Went to get vegetarian food for xiaopang and met up with meiyun, junwei and jianhua at fairprice as they just finish buying the food.
Off to buy the cake.
Met xiaopang and hwee shan at tampines library bus stop and off we go to my place :)
We set up the table and food and we EAT :D
was a great steamboat overall.
After eating, heh heh, photo taking!
And we played saboteur, thanks xiaopang for the game you brought, was very fun :)
After that we brought out the cake and present to surprice him! wahahahah.
Happy belated birthday xiaopang!
Ate the cake and we continued to play saboteur and taking photos :D
At 10:30pm, its time to go home, brought them to the bus stop and take bus 34.

Lets start for my 19th birthday celebration.
Starting from 8th aug...

Henry is now officially 19 years old.
Had a great 19th years old this year!

8/8/09, Saturday

Darrelle passed me my early birthday present, thanks alot!
really appreciate it :)

The anticipated FP outing!
Trip to Teo Heng Karaoke.
After that met up with meiyun, hweeshan and xiaopang at tampines mrt station.
Took bus 10 to katong, andrew board the bus at simei to meet up with us.
Long time no see andrew!
Junwei was there early, therefore he had an practice session there first. LOL.
3 cheers to hokkien song king :D
Xunxiong came over from bus 15 as he somehow overslept. lol
We had a singing session from all the way from 2pm to 6pm.
Overall was great! just that xiaopang was rather shy to sing. LOL.

After the singing session, we headed over to Holland V.
After searching for a good place for dinner, we decided to have our dinner at Thai Express.
We ordered dinner, eat and chat, eat and chat.
I didnt know they actually planned a surprise birthday celebration there.
As i turned my head, i saw a cake!
OMG this is really surprising.
Its both a celebration for me and xunxiong
12th and 5th aug respectively.
So, happy birthday!

9/8/09, Sunday

First of all, HAPPY NATIONAL DAY!
in the noon around 1:30, met meiyun at street 21 tampines bus stop to collect race pack for Safra Bay Run 2009 at toa payoh safra.
Took bus 59 there.
Meeting junwei directly at safra.
Collected the race pack. Somehow the race pack is like a shopping bag.
LOL, might be due to recession i guess.
followed by looking for printers at courts.

junwei went for NDP and off we went back to tampines to meet xunxiong, xiaopang and jianhua to hunt for siew ching's gift.
Bought some baby products for her daughter.
Hwee shan met us after that and off we went to downtown east for siew ching's chalet.
Gary met us on the way.
wow, siew ching is really a great host. And also the catering of food and the seafood preparation.
Anyway, congrats on your daughter's first month :D
all the best to you.
Quite a number of people there.
pohli came over at around 8pm and junwei came over at around 9pm
we all sat down and chatted till about 1030 and off we go home.

I love this day, you know why?
Cause its public holiday, brought forward by sunday.
NO NEED WORK :D

Basically slacked at home till evening.
And off to jogging.
Somehow, i jog until slight fever when i reach home -_-

Fever subsided, and thats great.
Sucks to being sick.

Office suddenly become super empty...
As the ngee ann poly students left. One shot 14 left.
My dept became so quiet.
work work work ...
left work at 6pm.

Met jianhua at eunos MRT station as he passed me my early birthday present.
Thanks for the belt! and the BMW.
LOL LOL LOL!

After that met Tiffany and Pricilla at Tampines.
Off to Ding Tai Fung for dinner.
Ordered fried rice and its great!
Chatted alot as its been sometime since we all had met up

Clock ticks 12am, and I'm officially 19 years old.

work...was a great day too!
During lunch break, they decided to dine at Mei Xiang Lou.
Sookjai, Gina, Bernard, aaron, teeming and yongcai came in with a cake!
omg this is surprising!
Its a great chocolate cake!

Went back to work..
clock ticks 6.45pm, and its time to go home.
Opened the locker to keep my laptop, at first i thought i had opened a wrong locker.
Cause i saw a card and a plastic bag whereby I didnt see it earlier in the morning.
OMG its a birthday card and a present.
Thanks for the present by teeming, yongcai, aaron, tok, cheryl and weiquan!
seriously surprised.
Changed into the superman clothes given by them
Yeah love it!

Off to lao pa sat for dinner,
and also, i've got to say sorry for those who contributed for the birthday card, as i dropped the card by accident without knowing it as i walked to lao pa sat.

25th July, Saturday

ah ha! thanks to the 20% trade in discount in royal sporting house, i got myself a new pair of running shoe, a Reebok one :D
YES!
Met up with meiyun and xunxiong to Tampines Mall @ 3pm as me and meiyun are looking for a new pair of sports 'suuuuuueeeee', oh i mean Sports Shoe LOL
i think meiyun gonna kill me for this.
and xunxiong is gonna cut hair as well as looking for a slipper but decided to buy it another time.
Tea Break-ed @ Long John Silver and left at 5pm.

A hair cut with xunxiong at fusion after that
I got mistaken as a sec sch kid once again by the same person for the 2nd time -___-"

Dinner-ed @ causeway point with xunxiong's fren and home-ed after that.

26th July, Sunday

Oh yes, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.
Watched with meiyun, hweeshan, pohli, nikita, amy, xunxiong and junwei @ ehub downtown east.
Overall, the movie wasnt really fantastic
This movie, talking is done much more than actions.
but still i cant wait for part 7
or perhaps i shall read the book first :D

11th July 2009, Saturday

Shirleen's departure to Perth for further studies.
So we had a sending off for her in the noon.
Reach Budget Terminal at around 1:30, together with benjamin, xunxiong, joelyn, thye wah, kiayee, yi zhou and many others.
Sat down at mac and chatted before going into the departure hall.
All the best to you shirleen! Study hard and take good care of yourself!
All the best and do well and don forget all of us huh!

12th July 2009, Sunday

K-Box @ ehub session with meiyun, hweeshan, xunxiong and junwei.
My 2nd time going to kbox.
Overall i had fun at there, though im not good singing, but well, just sing ah!
LOL.
Fun fun fun!

Lunch-ed at Streets Cafe at ehub after that.
Hweeshan went home after that and we continued walking around at white sand for awhile.
Arcade-ed over there for awhile too.

Met my parents for dinner in the evening.

Overall a nice day! An enjoyable day before my SIP!

13th July 2009, Monday

Rise and Shine!

First day of SIP, woke up at 7am.
Wash up, bath and off to work!
Acted smart today, while walking out, I saw bus 538 (Shenton Way Premium Bus)
Decided to try it as I thought it will reach within 30min.
It took 45min instead -_-
The rest waited for quite some time.
Sorry man!

And almost late for work for the first day.
Luckily not, phew.

Went to the meeting room, there are still ppl later than us. LOL.
In the room, there are new interns as well as new permanent staff, including one manager one assistant manager.
Briefed and collected some "welcome pack", laptop too.
Off to 31st floor to our office.
No fix desk yet. So assigned to a temp desk where the staff is on leave.

Proceed on with the installation.
one word...ALOT!
but thanks to the seniors for helping =D

ended work at 6:30pm.

14th - 16th July

alright i shall cut short on my posting for tue to thur as it is repetitive.
ha.

Installation take a whole load of time...
but well, i can slack XD
but real programming is starting very very very soon =/
seriously, my programming sucks.
Went to 4 different places to eat in this days.

7 July 2009, Tuesday

Went with mum and bro to ICA to collect passport in the morning.
Yes making appointment is a great choice, less than 5min, collection is done :)

Head over to west coast park for mac breakfast.
Honestly speaking, this is my first time at west coast park. LOL!
I know i am a 井底蛙. hahahahaha.
Off to home after that, i drove half the journey.

A typically normal day.

8 July 2009, Wednesday

Once again, its nihon mura time again. LOL!
Seems like it is my 6th time there in less than a year.
But seems that I could not get bored of the food there.
Went over with Weiquan, Teeming, Jiabao, Yongcai and Mokoto.

Played with Jiabao Sony DSLR.
It looks fun, oh yeah, it is fun. Lol.
Makes me feel like learning photography sooner or later.
Ha.

Take a few hours for digestion, and its time for my usual running training!
I ran 12.1km at a timing of 1hour 22min.
And i manage to run 10km within 1hour.
Target achieved!

I learnt to have lesser water intake during running.
Too much water intake ends up in a stomach cramp.
I learnt my lesson, shall not commit the same old mistake again.
38 days to Safra Bay Run Half Marathon!

9 July 2009, Thursday

Hopped over to the market to buy some groceries for home.
Seems like I getting better at groceries shopping.
Ha!

Bus-ed down to school to borrow books.
Yes Adobe Photoshop CS3 skills, I seriously know nuts about it.
Gotta learn.

Gym-ed with marcus after that.
Bench press is seriously a straining machine.
But well, im so gonna train :D

My SIP is starting. Yes real soon. In like 9 days.
In the past, around year 1, I was always looking forward to SIP. As it could be fun!
Now I am worrying about the stress level, as in, could I cope?
Which I think I would be able to cope, at the same time, grow up in KPMG.
In the bright side, I could train myself to have a much better time management and being more responsible in my work. At the same time, stop my procrastination when comes to do things. This is one of my bad habit.

Napfa test i coming soon in 6 days. Miss the registration for 1st september. So well, 10 july.
I shall give it a try for it.
Improved my timing for 2.4km with a timing of 11min 28sec.
Now is training for my standing board jump and my chin up.
Silver award, I'll be contented =)
Safra bay run is approaching in 43 days! Somehow looking forward to it. Hahahha...

Went to play badminton with meiyun and xunxiong at TP sports hall.
Played for close to 4hours, inclusive of some breaks in between.

Followed by lunch at Long John Silver at TM.
Accompanied meiyun to Kiddy Place, opps i mean Kiddy Palace, LOL, as she is buying a gift for her niece.
off to home after that.

Xunxiong went over to my place to print the passport size photos
Sick of pasir ris food, went over to hougang to eat instead. Lol.
Fish soup with rice, good! 8/10 rating :D

25th June 2009, Thursday

TAIN presentation. Which this day marks the end of my my polytechnic modules.
met up early to do a photo montage advertisement that would actually make the presentation more interesting.

So i started at 9am...

Sch has reopened, this marks the end of my holidays till end of feb 2010.
SIP is up next, followed by final year project.
Company that i'll be posted have not been confimed.
But Ms Chiang called last week and say "Hi Henry, your resume has been sent to KPMG, you might be expecting an interview soon"
So, certain chance i might be there.

June 2009 Prosperco Pawnbroker Auction.

Yes, its the 3rd saturday of the month, which means its my work day!
It is my 4th time working for prosperco in this monthly auction.
Working as a assistant auctioneer. Which assist in data entry during the auction as well as before the auction.
This month's location at RELC international. Which took me and keyuan about 30min just to find it. LOL.
Rather slacking day, lesser bidders, lesser auction pledges, earlier time to knock off work.
So slack that i could actually read newspaper and chit chat with colleagues.
Working for prosperco was great, none of the superiors are unreasonable. All seems to be like friends. LOL.
Looking forward for next auction in july.
Ended work at 5:15pm. Went to look for watches. Though there is GSS, its still very expensive -_-"
Followed by dinner and off to home.
Misleaded by the circle line, thought there is a station at paya lebar. Therefore we took the NEL from douby ghaut to serangoon transfer to circle line just to check it out. Reached, check the map again, found out that it actually just go pass it... UNDERGROUND. This is LOL, indeed I am a frog in the well.

Ah yes, its Fathers' Day. Therefore i wish all Dads a Happy Fathers' Day!
Followed dad and mum in the noon for awhile.
For some random reasons, i promised my dad a Piggy Bank.

22th June 2009, Monday

TAIN class test. I woke up at 7:30am to recap once again.
Studied till 10:45 and im off to school.
12:15 start paper. The paper was slightly easier than i thought. Except for the last question. I think i made some mistakes there.
AHHHH.
nvm, one more presentation!
Off to mensa for lunch and gym-ed with chris and jiabao at Tampines Sports Hall.
Napfa is coming! in 1 week!
I'm confident in all stations except chin-up.
This sucks.
But i'll retake till i get a silver.
Im so not gonna go for PTP

In just 3 days, school is gonna reopen. and there would no longer be any holidays for me till i clear my year 3 which is till end of feb!On the bright side, its just 8 months more till i graduate! :)

13th June 2009 Saturday

Sentosa Day! 2nd sentosa trip with meiyun, hwee shan, xunxiong and junwei.
Met up with meiyun, xunxiong and hwee shan at pasir ris mrt station at 1:30pm while we meet junwei directly at vivocity as he is working.

Off to buy snacks and drinks, junwei is paying for it, therefore we chose the best. LOL. no lah. thanks junwei =)
off to buy the tickets for the entry to sentosa.

Settle down at palawan beach for picnic. meiyun made chocolate and banana muffin, hwee shan made sandwiches, xunxiong make sushi, i make sotong and fish ball, junwei supplied drinks and food :D
sat down and chit chatted and played with the beach volleyball.

fun fun fun. lol.
Till about 5:30pm, we packed up and went to the sentosa luge and skyride and bought the 2 rides ticket.

Luge is fun! so does the skyride. and we took photos during the ride.
Deciding to save the 2nd ride for the night as the night view would be great :D

So we went to siloso beach for the 2nd round of picnic. A very calm place and its a great place to picnic there too :)
At around 8:45, we went for our 2nd skyride and luge. The night view is simply great. And the luge ride in the night was a different experience.

Getting late, its time to go home.
Total of 166 photos, thanks to mountain tortoise and frog in the well. LOL.

A great sentosa trip, looking forward for the next one :D

14th June 2009 Sunday

Today is the day whereby it will be decided of where i will be moving to in nov.
Therefore in nov, i will be moving to edgefield plains at punggol.
Still have about 5 more months before i move :)

Passed otah to nikita for her uncle's bbq. Some orders got wrong. Therefore couldnt deliver over the satay. Sorry!

15th June Monday

As usual my running training. Preparing for both napfa test and the next marathon running event. Went over to the bus stop near meiyun's place as she is passing me the Dorayaki she helped me buy as well as getting back my folder. Thanks!

Next is mahjong with xunxiong, ck and weihong.
Played from 12:30pm to 7pm.
Our last played was like 2 months ago. lol.
Okay, i lost $6.
Off for dinner at block 444 and home.

Met up with yongcai, christopher and others from Diploma in LOM and BSG students who helped out in the nightwalk camp for the movie "Drag Me To Hell"
I would rate the movie at 4/5 stars
I love the sound effects that scares ppl :)
A little funny though, not bad, adding a little comedy into this movie is a great idea at times too.
Thumbs up, worth watching.
But ending was not really good.

Somehow a adult bird built a nest on one of my plant in the garden out of a sudden
with two eggs, and it hatched a few days later.
Cute huh!

Shall not disturb it and just let them live there till they grow up and fly away (:

Went for my usual running training today...this time round i used a new route i designed for myself (:

Met up with CK and xunxiong to the PC show at suntec.
Basically just went to walk around.
Met up with christopher there too.

Went home after that.

9th - 10th June 2009
Went for an overnight camp at TP business school.
Its a synergy camp for the Diploma in Logistics and Operation Management
Our role, nightwalk helper (:
Before the actual thing starts, we helped out in the the preparation. Cover lights and cover up the hollows to prevent ppl from the bottom floor to look up, to have a better errie effect :D
Followed by some ghastly make up..

And it starts, my role is to be in a classroom and scare the hostage and make them solve some puzzles.
Turn out to be scary for the first 5min.
But due to the long puzzle, and being know its a night walk.
They got bored of it and i became "unscary" and being the fact is, i'm the only ghost inside and 2 hostage inside -_-
sames goes to other classrooms.
Didnt turn out well for the 10 classrooms helpers.
Wanderers are much more fun.
But well, was a great experience!

First of all...

Henry has conquered 42.195km at adidas Sundown Marathon 2009 on the 30th May!
definitely this is another achievement that I am very satisfied with myself (:

Celebrated Jun Wei's belated birthday at MOF @ Bugis Junction before the great run!
We staged a surprise celebration and overall it was a success! Met meiyun, hwee shan and xunxiong at 4:15pm at pasir ris mrt station and off we went to bugis to buy a cake.
Went to MOF while waiting for junwei to reach.
Me and meiyun went down to meet junwei, upon going to MOF, we signal to the waiter to bring out the cake.
LOL, a nice shocking look from junwei.

Happy belated 20th bday to junwei (:

Left at 7 plus and walk around and left bugis at around 8:30
Next up~

Tadah! The long awaited first full marathon that I am looking forward to since the day i registered for this! =)
junwei came to my place first while we get ready, put things down at home first as we do not want to bring too much things to the race day.
Met meiyun, jiejie and chin leong at pasir ris mrt station as we gonna take a shuttle bus from the bus stop near there.
and off we go to the race day!
Crowds at changi village, total of about 10500 runners for all categories.
11:59pm ... flag off.

Stomach cramp and slow down due to too much water intake at my 25km.
Lesson learnt, will not commit the same thing in my next marathon. lol
Overall, great experience, fun !
My first time completing a 42.195km !

Volunteered for TP graudation ceremony as a student guide at 8:15am, which is at session 1, till 12pm.
Well this is the first time i actually witness how the graduants graduate during the ceremony.
After seeing my fellow seniors graduate, i feel like graduating too!

Went to school for MLBI lesson. Lesson got cut short due to we did most of the work in the previous lesson.
Finished the lab exercise and submit it to teacher and we are done for the day!
got back my RBL report, 10% weightage. I got an A! Woot this is something great ;D
off to mensa for lunch and off to met Marcus for gym.
went home after gym.

Hwee Shan's surprise party later at the night.
Xunxiong came over to my place to meet me, left for Tampines at 7pm.
Met xiaopang, junwei and meiyun at tampines mall to buy bday card and collect bday cake
Met up with poh li at hs's house downstairs.
Write the birthday card and lit the candles and hs's bro came down to help too.
collected the pizza and went up.
Up we went, walked in and sang the bday song at the same time, managed to see the surprised look from the bday girl. hahahaha!
Ate, take photos, chat... and we count down to 12am for her bday.
Bday celebration was a great one! Credits to the great organisers, me and meiyun, whhahhahah, lol

Woke up in the morning to help my mum for grocery shopping.
Borrowed my bro's van and drove down to market to buy. As well as lunch.
Celebrated Mothers' Day one day earlier and bro bought food back as well as cake!

So, Happy Mothers' Day to my mum! (:

At night, went with brother and two of his friends for the premiere gala preview of the movie, Angels and Demon at iluma Bugis
The movie was, rather... okok.
Perhaps due to the reason i dun really understand it

Came back from a 10km jog a few hours ago.
feeling very shagged the moment i come back, guess i have not been running for the past few weeks. Ha.
Basically, 38 more days to adidas Sundown Marathon 42.195km.
So, i must train more! At least hit an 25km before the actual event (:
i'll try i'll try.

In a flash, holidays have ended.
I manage to get a handphone before school starts.
Phone-less will be a torture.
Samsung Pixon is good stuff!

Sch starts, timetable wise, its great!
but well, this only last for 7-8 weeks.
And after term break, SIP and final year projects will swarm in.
this is my final year, and i wish to graduate with good grades
so, must work hard for this final year.
Bad habits...laziness, lack of motivation, procrastinating...all these must be gone.

but the voucher only valid for running products.

Tok got a sports shoe.

Off to semester briefing.
Sch says, IP might be scrape off!

after sem briefing some of us went to minds' cafe but found out that the price after happy hours is super expensive.
Therefore we went to Tampines 1 instead.

Woke up for qing ming today.
Sis help me bought a P plate today...therefore, i can drive today!
finally i can make use of my newly acquired driving license!
yeah, as its newly acquired license, i only shall drive around the east side LOL.
As im not used to all the roads yet, other than ubi and eunos LOL. As i have been driving around there for 6months ? hahaha.

Took the driver seat of my brother's car to changi airport for lunch.
The feeling of driving in TPE is rather gd.
lol lol i might sound sua ku here, but well, its the first time driving without any L plate =X

After lunch, off to balestier road for qing ming.
till about 4pm, off we went to tampines mall.
brother went back home first.
Mum and sis went shopping, and i checked out the Tampines 1.
The crowd is crazy, thinking of getting a T shirt or polo tee frim Uniqlo.
but look at the queue...

Dad pick us up and off we went to ehub to meet bro for family dinner at Fresh Buggogi.

Came back from driving TP test.
Somehow tossed and turned the night before...LOL
head keep thinking of the test.
Reached cdc at 10:15.
In the warm up room.
I heard..RAIN! oh damn.
So my warm up session was driving in the rain ><
luckily, during test, no rain!
Overall...I PASSED!

Went to look for bicycles with ck and marcus afterwards.
Have been aiming to buy a bicycle.
And the pricing are damn high!
maybe gotta save up more then buy.

Rather nervous about the TP test which is TOMORROW! 7th april!

Went for driving lesson this morning at 10:20am.
Saw junwei at the driving centre too, he was taking 8:30 lesson.
Cheryl and Jianhua was having lessons today too at 10:20.

Used car 198.
Did a driving mock assessment today.
Circuit - perfect, no demerit points (Woot!)
Road - Big time failure. -_-

2 immediate failure and 28 demerit points.
I seriously need to touch up on my mistakes, only 7 days to test!
luckily this is just a mock test.

Damn, i dreamt that i failed my driving TP test last week.
hopefully it is not "my dream came true"

Today met Yongcai and Jiabao at tampines mrt station for lunch at Nihon Mura
lol its the 4th time i actually went there already...
somehow doesnt get sick of the food there.
yes it is a high tea buffet =)
$15.90++ for student rate
food wise, not bad!
Suping and jai came afterwards at 3pm.
We started to play the "guess the number" game for the fun.
Forfeit it, order one bowl of white rice and finish it!
we started the game when we r almost full.
played 4 times, jiabao got 2 times, yongcai got 2 times
LOL.
2 bowls of rice each. I volunteered to eat a little.
and i could not finish, together with some finger food on the table.
So i wasted some food =/
Finished at 5pm.
LOL, i could hardly walk, too bloated
Therefore walked to street 21 to take bus home instead of just taking bus at library there.
I shall not order more food than i can take, i mean refering to tori karage!
LOL.

2nd driving revision lesson for today.
Instructor rock-ed today...and i hardly make any mistake...
other than some safety checks.
well a good instructor and a patient one = you do well
a "love to scream at you" and not patient instructor = you end up making more mistakes!
Today, its a good instructor =)
4 more lessons and 15 days more to TP test!

lunch-ed with ck after lesson.
Met up with dad at 3.30pm to do re-contract
sadly, authorised dealers cannot do re-contracting -_-
i have to do it online instead.
Doing online have to ensure upon delivery of the new modem, my dad has to be around to sign contract and the earliest would be april.
So we decided to proceed to Hello! shop tmr as only Hello store does re-contract and i can get the modem on the spot :D

My k800i has been giving me problems these days, well, its 2.5years old anyway.
SE C905i...too ex!
Samsung Pixon...too ex!
Samsung F480...reasonable and cheap and good, but not really my target phone =/
Went down to singtel to check for F480, they have no stock...maybe its a sign for me to re-consider =))))

Heya...i shall start blogging starting from monday 16th of March
Start off with Elias Park Primary School gathering! It has been 7 years since we all gathered, thanks to Sabrina, Xue Yen and Cheng En for organizing!
Total ppl attending, 20!
Overall its real fun!
Chatted load of things and crapped.

Caught "Coming Soon" with Hui Fen, Xue Yen, Guan Hua, Cheng En, Kok Sin, Tim and Aik Wei at Ehub at 11:15pm.
Overall, average, storyline...TOO SHORT!
Stay overnight at the chalet and went back home at 8am.

17th March Tuesday
nth much, just sleeping at home the moment i reached home after that chalet :D

18th March Wednesday
Gym-ed with Marcus and Mark, and tok came afterward for running at stadium.
Subway-ed fro breakfast and off we go home.
Nicholas, ck and xunxiong came over to play mahjong.
Mark came afterwards to have pizza that we ordered in the evening.

19th March Thursday
Woke up at 9am and off i go to fairprice to get some chicken wing and seafood for the bbq on friday!
Defrosted the chicken till about 4pm and i start to marinate it with my mum.
Met up wif xunxiong, hweeshan and meiyun at 7pm at fairprice and the the remaining stuffs for the bbq.
Cab-ed down to my place and start to make the preparations
Prepared the prawn, stingray, sotong and hotdog with bacon.
Finished everything at about 10pm

20th March Friday
Yes it bbq day!
Morning i went to get potato, bacon and lime.
Xunxiong came over to help in preparing the potato and asparagus with bacon.
Met Pohli, jianhua, kheeguang, junwei, andrew at pasir ris mrt station and off we go to my place.
keyuan cycled to my place after that.
We did the starting of fire.
Meiyun and Hwee Shan joined us at 7.30pm after their work.
Took out all the food and the bbq starts!
jiejie joined us afterwards
bbq and chatted alot.
Overall was fun!
and we took loads of photos, more than 100.

Outing with Suping, Xinyi & her bf, Kelvin, Jai, Yuhao, JiaBao and aaron to water theme park @ chinese garden.
met up at 9:30 for breakfast at mac with kelvin and suping
well its a miracle that suping actually came on time! miracle.
Clap Clap Clap!
Started the fun of water-ing at 1pm.
Ended at around 3pm.
Lunched at kfc after that.
Overall... fun!

Saturday 7March
Yeah, i did only one thing today.
which is sending my acer for servicing -_-
seriously damn pissed off with acer.

Sunday 8March
Driving lesson... last lesson for module 3 and then im left with revision.
Did an assessment, somehow its a mock test.
hmm, i scored...20 demerit points!
which is a fail =/
A very very very very marginal fail as an accumulation of 20 points and above constitutes a failure =/
nvm during TP test i shall not do the same mistake!

It has been sometime i trained for my sundown marathon.

Wednesday 11March
Left around 11pm to acer service centre to collect my notebook.
yes its working very well!
off to home via mrt to woodlands and take 168 home.
On the train before i actually fell to a doze, my phone ring-ed
oh! thats my result!
overall, im satisfied with my results! my cgpa went up (:
must really thank to all my grp members who i worked with for this semester.
And for all the helps as my programming concept isnt strong (:

Thursday 12March
Met up in the noon with xunxiong and yuhao for lunch at tampines.
Yuhao was late, as usual =/
off to meet yongcai and teeming at city hall to go IT fair.
Looking at the laptops makes me feel like buying one too and throw away my acer.
left at 4pm and pass satay and otah to mark for his bbq.

Dinner-ed at bedok 85 with xunxiong and off to home.

Legend of the Seas (:

Probably today, is my last day of work for intercruises. As the remaining cruise departure/arrivals is 7april and 8may.
one clashed with my driving TP test and another clashes with my sch terms.
Overall experience working with intercruises and legend of the seas, great! made more friends compare to rhapsody of the seas in 2007.
Although i only worked 6 days since december.

Woke up at 5:15 as i have to report to work at 6:30 at singapore cruise centre, as usual, i took a cab there as im able to claim it =x
taxi driver today, drove 130km/h and dangerously at ECP -_-
end up reach workplace early.
today is a long long working day, from 6:30am to 6pm.
11.5hours.
guest are taking their own sweet time to get onboard the ship =/
but well, nvm, i still get my OT pay =x

So for the remaining days for my vacation, anyone have lobang, tell me! :D
i would definitely appreciate it, legitimate jobs by the way. LOL.

In a flash, its friday. 1/8 of my holiday is almost cleared for now.
Yes 1/8, and i haven found a job =/
sent multiple applications online. But totally no reply.
Luckily intercruises is kind enough to call me back to work for 1 day tmr =)
Yes as promised by my supervisor on jan saying that 28feb i will be working.
Ah ha that will be my final day working for intercruises for the 2008/2009 cruise call.
Hopefully if possible i could be working for them again for oasis of the seas for 2009/2010 cruise calls, provided it doesnt clash with my internship.

Driving lesson today, VERTICAL PARKING! My usual instructor is not around for today, therefore another took over. I seems to be fated to car 132 for some reason, although i did not sign up for fixed instructor scheme. Anyway, thats great! as the instructor is gd and funny.
today another took over, method of teaching. One word. Different. But overall, not bad. but only cleared me for vertical parking, didnt even let me try parallel. Might be due to me vertical parking mistakes. For 4 times, i almost strike the pole down.
And there is big big fat rat in the circuit, for duno what reason, i totally have no idea why is it doing there. Perhaps learning road safety in the circuit, got run down by a car. I bet that driver did not actually check for road hazard.

Bus-ed down to eunos for lunch. Wanted to have a bento for lunch, i saw seats inside, i went to draw money. Back! all seats are taken -_-
Instead went to a kopitiam for lunch.
back to home.
At 5pm jog-ed for 5.7km (according to google map)
for 37min. My stamina dropped.

20/2/09 Friday
MBDP submission day! Cleared this subject officially at 4pm! And its holiday! Early dinner with jiabao, weiquan, gerald and aaron. Eat and chatted for about 2 hours before leaving. As we are all too lazy to move. lol.

SLEEP

21/2/09 Saturday
Yes im back to driving lesson, this time is a different instructor. Simply sleeps abit in the car. Maybe he is confident with my driving skills HAHAHAH. But overall, a good instructor. I cleared module 2! Night time met ck, marcus and his friend kevin for night cycling. ck's friend owns a great bike. Start off at changi v and off to buangkok for dinner. Next Upper Thomsand road for prata @ prata house. After that back to my house. A very long trip. On the way back home, i learnt a lesson, always look out for traffic before u actually cross the road, dun assume that there is no cars during the midnight. I almost could not be blogging now. >< I'll be extra, super, very careful.

22/2/09 Sunday
Came back from night cycling, basically damn tired. Bath and sleep all the way till 4:30pm. Early dinner with mum and dad at airport T1. Reach home, feeling tired again, used the com for awhile and back to sleep.

23/2/09 Monday
Met xunxiong for a haircut at fusion. My hair is cut back to the short short hairstyle which its the same as the previous one. After a few times, i find that actually having short hair is good as well. It makes a person look mature and refined (: Perhaps thats my style =D
Next bowling with ck and xunxiong. At the 2nd game, i had a bad stomache. Which i tink i ate something bad in the morning, And therefore i cut down my games for that day. After that i felt better. Next! Mahjong! With jianhua, xunxiong and tok. Ck took over after jianhua left. We played for a whopping 8hours! It may be short for others but its my record so far.

24/2/09 Tuesday
Driving lesson at 10:20. First lesson of module 3. and surprisingly i cleared 3 subjects at one go! thats already like half of the module. Thanks for instructor =D probably can go for evaluation on this sunday and the rest are revision lessons! Lunched at tampines with ck. Next met tok for gym at tampines sports hall. Yes train up! Napfa silver/gold here i come! and adidas sundown 5hr timing and finisher T-Shirt here i come!

DAMN!
my acer is being undergoing repairing...
this is already the 2nd major crash in 1.5 years
first was blue screen and cannot start up at all!
now is overheating of motherboard..
plus some other minor problems over these 1.5 years.
zzz... my acer sucks
what the heck man...the technician says that it would take 2 to 8 weeks to be ready for collection -_-
by that time my project submissions are either already up or soon...
i cant possibly depend on the school labs, are at times the lab are full!!!!!!
and weekends! labs are closed after 1 on sat...
my desktop pc cant make it anyway, but im using it to blog anyway
but its too slow to run my project application -_-
and it hangs frequently.
and i need to bring out to do work too
ARGHHHHHH...why my notebook have to spoil at this period of time!!

LOA is given as ENC students have to attend a event called the Sun Tech Days
where developers of singapore gathers to attend this grand conference.
I tink about a thousand ppl are there today.
And people from sun microsystems will demonstrate the latest technology that they had developed.
Although i dun really love programing.
I must really take my hat off to them...
they are really great at that (:

after that head back to home as i gotta do report for tomorrow's presentation.
upon reaching home i changed and ran 5km outside.
time to build up stamina man!

Finally i've found some time to blog.

Was busy reading up and researching for my BSIT assignment.

one bad thing about this subject is...

ITS A DAMN PBL SUBJECT!

yes it does stimulates your thinking, but in the end u end up learning lesser

as you hand in your assignment, teacher just mark and give you your grade, and you wont know where it went wrong! and just research and research and no lecture to cover anything -_-

now i am about 90% done with my BSIT assignment, i've got the mood to blog now then (:

alright here is something good, BSIT is much better than any programming subjects.

My programming sucks to the core but i'll brush up my skills

Friends got back their O level results...

and they are choosing their diploma course wisely.

This makes me regret why didnt i choose my course wisely and chose dipIT as a 2nd choice!

and i actually rmb i chose this course because i like to use a computer (my secondary 4 thinking)

LOL! and now im suffering.

like to use a computer as in play games and msn and surf net and use i to do projects -_-

funny eh, laugh at me

well, upon graduation i must choose my Uni course wisely and not to waste my time and future.

no more ranting on my course, i shall just clear this diploma and put in my very best for the remaining 1 year.

and its installing for 30min already...with only 52% lol.

damn!
projects are beginning to pile up one by one
4 subjects, 4 projects...currently.
Some subject even have more than one assignment.
Handed in MBDP proposal today, although we dun have lessons today, but the deadline is today.
A whopping 9 page report.
I printed a coloured report to enhance the look of the proposal
5 pages colour and 4 black and white
the last page, there is a website link and therefore there would be colours.
ITS JUST ONE LINE! and im charged 40cent for that page. Rawr...

After submission lunched with tok, teeming and christopher.
TP is crowded today as its open house.
If i have lesser work to do, i would definitely help out in the touring secondary students around TP (:
but sadly no time.
ah thinking of open house...
ytd i walked passed Design Sch and a student there asked me if i wan to join design sch!
lol, might be because of the recent Secondary School haircut i got myself on tuesday -_-
and that makes me look lik a kid
next time while cutting hair, i shall state my instruction clearly! and perhaps 2 or 3 times -_-

tried crank course, and reverse parking LOL
which is module 3 topics!
if every instructor would do the same thing for the last 5min of your lesson, it would be great!

Woot this is the day im looking forward!
Xmas party with Jun Wei, Xunxiong, Chin Leong, Andrew, Hwee Shan, Meiyun and Pei Fung.
Xiaopang couldnt come at last min =/

Met up at 4pm at pasir ris mrt station and then off we went to collect our logcake.
after some preparations, reached my place at around 6pm
and the party starts!
I prepared po-teh-to salad, Xunxiong prepared fried dumplings, Jun Wei prepared fishballs and nuggets, Chin Leong prepared turkey ham, Andrew prepared longan and almond jelly, Hwee Shan prepared pasta, Meiyun prepared fried rice, Pei Fung prepared roasted chicken
YUM! =)
start off with dinner and we chatted and eat at the same time.
chat and eat for about an hour and then we sit at living room and we tagged our presents
watched tv and chat.
At 9pm where xiao niang re starts.
The funny thing actually starts.
duno why junwei fell asleep...therefore we decided to play a prank on him LOL
we sneaked to the kitchen as well as our belongings and i off all the lights but not the living room and i changed the living room clock time to 1.20am LOL.
and the rest hid at the kitchen and i went out and woke him up and i said "ehh, u finally wake up, 1.20 liao leh, the rest went home"
he replied "HAR"
but he took out his phone and see time -_-
NO FUN!
lols, but overall its interesting.
After that i brought out my mahjong table and me, xunxiong, peifung and andrew played mahjong while the rest played cards.
after about 30min we played heart attack and then our 2nd round of dinner.
until 12am.
Merry Christmas!
and we draw lots for our present.

why ? dont feel lik explaining, as its long story and long winded

woot today i got another car!

this instructor was damn great seriously, 30min cured all my bad mistakes
and i drive smoothly in the whole 100min
not to say about my 1 time engine stall in a junction with slope LOL
although i ony got 1 stamp, its still great as i nv felt so much confidence in driving.
maybe its too early for me to say LOL.

Class outing, but...
overall only 5 ppl went =(
Me, Alex, Yu Hao, Wei Quan and Suping met up to watch twilight!

had lunch at subway as 3pm show was not available, so we spent our time at subway and walked around till 5pm
seating arrangement at the cinema was whoa
seated at the extreme right side, i can feel the bass BOOM BOOM BOOM.
overall rating of the movie
3.5 stars, out of 5
rather worth watching =)

after watching, walked around orchard, alex was finding his jacket and found one!
an Adidas jacket, $122! and he put it back.
i need new clothes for CNY too. Although im like 1mth early.
But no harm buying first =)
end up, i did not buy anything as i'll have to reconsider.

Dinner @ kfc and chat before we head home.
Seen those decorations in orchard road, compared to last year
this year decoration isnt that great after all.

Blog has been collecting dust for many days.
Yeah time to make a post.

Let me start from yesterday.
its Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2008!
Me, Jun Wei, Mei Yun, Pei Fung and Nikita signed up for the event, for a 21.1km half marathon
Cab-ed down to esplanade and we reached there at 5.15am, as we are afraid of long queues for bag deposits and traffic jams as there are road closures.
Pinned tag number and champion chips and deposit bags, and we are ready!
wanted to go toilet but the mobile toilets...the queue reminds of ppl queueing up for hello kitties in the past at mac -_-
Half Marathon Race starts at 6.30am.
Bang! and the big crowd runs.
and i finished the run in 2hr 53min :D
tired, muscle ache, but its worth it man!
Tried 10km and 21.1km
gonna try full marathon in 2009, 42.195km finisher tee, here i come! :D

Off to kenny rogers for lunch after the run.
And off to home for a nap!
muscle ache ahhhhhhh...

Next! would be today
Final project preparation meeting for SWEN PP#3
Tmr would be presentation, lab test, and written test.

Blog has been collecting dust for quite a number of days already.
update update!

I'll start from sunday.
Driving lesson 4!
finally, im now able to drive on the public road.
But due to first time on the public road, i made many mistakes...
really, its...MANY!
my biggest mistake is not being able to stop on time at a junction...
and my instructor had to pull hand brake and step his brake and EHEEEEEEEHEEEEEHEEE to a stop. Gotta improve on it man...on friday. Some drivers around, guide me! lol.

There is 2 tests today...
EWAD online quiz...20 mcqs..
final score 14/20, but teacher say some of our mistakes are suppose to be correct, so i'll expecting a 18 or 19 =)
SWEN class test...
yes its rather manageable...i manage to do it comfortably =)
after test, as SWEN is a PBL subject, things are going to be rather REAL!
our teacher Dr. Foo gonna act as the client called Mr Wang
and Mr Wang would be answering all our past few questions through a recorded video.

yes i finally get to touch the car more xD

I've lost count of the number of engine stalls i have LOL.

but that would be common for learners =)

and gradual turn clockwise and anti-clockwise.

At the start i was think it should be the same.

im wrong...

anti clockwise

is harder as its harder to see the turning bends at ur left lol.

so...i striked the kerb.

overall, fun!

Today...finally i did something that is not related to poly life
ah yes!
Driving practical lesson #1
Went down straight to CDC with jianhua after project-ing in school.
yes he enrolled manual motorcar and he is rather lucky to get a BTT test date within this month lol.
Waited till 2.35pm and my first lesson starts!
At the car point i could not find my car and everyone are already going into their car with their instructor.
And im the blur sotong who stands there *where is my car!?*
LOL my instructor was arnd 5min late.
As he said, 1st lesson is uber boring as there are more talk than hands on.
Yes 60min of explaining the controls of the car
and remaining time to go forward and reverse.
Yes this is first lesson, and i find it rather fun.
Looking forward to other lessons which more things to be learnt.
Sunday!!! fasterrrrr lol.

After lesson, back to the boring part...

Lack of updates for about a week.
Yes im stressed...with sch work.
Enterprise computing (ENC) really stands for Every Night Chiong.
Yes thats my course option block.
From the start till now. Every school days.
I've slept no earlier than 12am.
From start of sch til now, the word "assignments" flows around in my brain.

Especially SWEN ( Software Engineering ) is really a pain.
Stay backed after school since 1pm and till 8.45pm.
To catch up with the work.

ah ha first week of school!
Everyone thinks that woo first week, juz an introduction to subjects for the whole of first lessons for each subjects.
Hell...no!
for mine, juz a mere 5-10min and its the start of lesson.
First lesson on monday, SWEN, we are being welcomed to this subject by an assignment in the 1st half hour of the lesson.
How nice of tp IIT sch. A welcome gift to year 2.2 students.

Back to today..
we had a 4hr EWAD lab session today.
Nth new, this happens everyday from monday to thur.
2 subjects, but damn heavy.
After lessons, we shown our learning template to Dr. Foo
Duno why...juz because of one small part error, he gave us an F
WTF?
although this part weighs a damn small percentage of the overall, this still piss me off.

Well after all these,
lunch time!
after cutting hair, off i went to nihon mura wif suping, yongcai, teeming, christopher, jiabao, alex, weiquan and yuhao.
Ate till damn full.. of course buffet mah, make full use of it.
stayed til 5pm, which is the last order.
Off i went to ntuc to get some things.
walked arnd TM wif yongcai, suping and yuhao as we want to digest our food as we ate too much =x
stopped at handphone shops, looking at those phones, i got the thinking in my brain
"I wan change my handphone!"
After using my k800i for 2 years. Problems arises. Crap. Phone doesnt last long.
Anyone who buys me a HTC touch diamond, i'll be very very grateful =x

Japanese Exchange 2008 day 2!
Woke up like arnd 6pm omg...
thats super early, this reminds me of sec sch days in the past lol.
Got ready and left house to meet my group.
Ate at mac before picking out japanese friends at their hotel lobby.
This day shld be the best! Total of 44 japanese and 36 singaporean i think. Grand outing...but split into many groups as might go different places.
Left the hotel... First stop..Sentosa!
Taught them how to buy single trip ticket and they learnt very fast!
Upon reaching sentosa, we starting took them to fort siloso and underwater world, but me and jiayu did not go in due to tight budget =/
But i followed them into the 4D magix. Oh yeah, its quite fun =)
After all these its already abt 3.15pm

we left sentosa and we took them to harbourfront hawker centre to eat, we bought roti prata for them to try and they say its nice!

They wanted to play bowling and arcade so we bought them to marina square as its nearby =)
omg its ages since i last used a house ball, so i performed badly =/
Combined group wif kelvin's and yuhao's grp..
all of us walked and talked alot and ended up dining at yoshinoya lols.
After that brought them to bugis street for some shopping.
Its almost 10pm..
we have to bring them back on time as Japanese are very particular on punctuality.
Took a few photos before heading home.
Next day...wake up early also!
somemore 30min earlier.

Woke up at 5.30am
Gave suping a morning call..LOL its actually the first time she picked up the phone fast and actually wont go back to slp LOL miracle...
she muz be excited to meet the japanese guy i guess =X lol lol
Left house at 6am omg...
Upon reaching tampines at around 6.30...
I saw a big fire near interchange!
omg...its really big...
after that suping and daryl reached...so we took train to bedok to meet jeremy.
Reached bugis to pick them up and off we went to NEWater visit..
after that we took them to orchard to shopping from 11am to 5pm!
this part was very fun as we all walked and chatted and talked nonsense =D
Next they went to KTV lol.
time passes fast and its 5pm
so they went to night safari but we could not follow.
So we went to get some soveniers for them and we actually customize a 6R size photo of our 3 groups for them =)
9.30pm we went to airport T3 to send them off.
Took some pics and off they went into the check in area.
We all will miss you all...
Please come back to Singapore again next time.
If u all wan to come, contact us :)
Next year March we might come over to Japan if possible :)

today is when they came to TP to walk around our school.

Day1:
quite fun..
although there are some communication problems.
But wif some friends and CM, we are able to communicate easier.

In a flash, the 6th week of holiday has ended.
One final week to go. Before the life of ENC begins, seriously, im not looking forward to 2.2.
So this final week of vacation, i'll use it wisely!
2 more days to my BTT, hope it turns out alright. And time for practical lessons!
My aim is to get a driving license by 6mths or less.

Heck, i tink my robinson pay is being delayed due to late submission of timesheet.
yes, ah yes, thanks to my supervisor (shall not mention names).
for not stamping our timesheet, and saying stamp is not needed.
And wasting my time going down to city hall just for a stamp.
and thank you for giving such a NICE attitude.

Also duno why i've come back to posting spree since the beginning of this year.

yes this day marks the end of Robinson Grand Spree
after hours of hectic clearing up of the hall, its over! =D
Overall during this fair we had lots of jokes among all the logistics members
You all rocks =D
And also... GOODJOB!

And also new name created, Kia-Wa-Yee =)
And...and...and timesheet is being signed, means our pay will be credited to us on saturday!
Dinner-ed at Bedok Roti John and headed back home straight, im too tired to do anything.

In this 11 days, i've made quite a number of great friends.

3 more days to end this work assignment at robinsons grand spree @ Expo
In a positive way, although i got posted to a department that it is not preferred by (although the interviewer ask me if i got posted to logistics, would i agree, i said Yes), i learnt a new working experience. =)
And i made some friends there too.
Oh yeah while working halfway, i received a phone call that i didnt have a record in my phonebook.
and yes! Intercruises called me! I used to work for them last year for the Rhapsody Of The Seas Cruise as a directional agent. omg she asked me if i would want to work for them again. I said yes straight! =D
But out of 20 days, i only could work for about 9 or 10 days, as i am schooling.
I'll call and ask, i'll hope i still get accepted, *pray hard*

Its 3oct, which shows that school is going to reopen!

Omg why this short term job also contribute to cpf =/
2 weeks job but 20% goes to cpf, argh why why why!?, I've got good money management mah so no need that LOL LOL.

Argh something i really wrong with my main phone line and my network connection.
Phone line down, cannot use house phone.
Network connection corrupted, seriously, damn, very, extremely, ridiculous, bad connection =/

Working at robinson was really damn tiring.
especially today, damn lots of customers, well its public holiday
whats good is that today is 2x pay xD
But im rather unhappy with the roles and time planning by the supervisors.
Working at this drains alot of my energy, so i end up eating ALOT!

Today!
yay its finally an off day.
So its finally a relaxing day.
Met Kiayee for bowling games today, today score wasnt gd as i changed to start throwing position and i gotta get used to it. And it is slightly better than before but just need to train for a lil bit of consistency, but also gotta control spenditure on bowling!
As i also gotta pay abit for my driving course.

Went to kelly services to get extra timesheet as i collected too little last time.
Argh tmr needa work.
Wonder how many trolleys would be short tmr LOL.

Ah the fair starts!
Thur 25th Sep
Not much of ppl on that day in the noon.
Wa upon reaching expo my supervisor tell me that my dinner break is at 6.30.
O.o so i asked around wad time is their break.
WTH all 5 plus or 5pm.
That means im eating alone.
wa lao not fair leh, posted to a dept i dun like and now this =.=
There are hell loads of customer having many things on the trolley, to make sure end of days no trolleys gone, we have to help them push it to Mrt/Car/Taxi stand and bring it back.
Yeah i only like this part, as u get to walk around and u can dilly dally and walk back slowly without anyone knowing =X
And pushing trolley out for customer MIGHT earn u tips, i got $3 lol.
Finally my break comes and the thing is that
expo food are expensive!
I had mix vege rice with 1meat 2vege and it cost $4.50 and the food score i give it 2/10?
lol.

Fri 26th Sep
A normal day with nth much happens on this particular day.
I only know that i had another awful dinner, fried fish chop hor fun which the fish doesnt even taste like fish at all =.=
and the serving is so little, so i bought fries at bk.
End of day, short of 1 trolley =/
I am not fully responsible for it, there are more than 10 people incharge of this that includes the security guards.

Sat 27th Sep
Finally this day i had a proper dinner with slightly tastier food and larger serving and its cheaper.
Nasi Padang!
$3.60 for expo staff and the serving is quite alot! For a big eater like me, i manage to have a full stomach =X
End of day, short of 3 trolleys, wth why. LOL maybe its hiding somewhere in the hall as i nv let any customer bring any trolleys out =)
Seriously this really make me sounds/looks like a security guard =/

Wednesday 24th Sep!

1st day of work...
Im in the logistics department in the Robinson's Grand Spree
Which i don't know why i am posted to that dept although i do have cashiering experience and i went for the interview on the 1st day noon!
Me plus 6 of another coursemates Xunxiong, Kiayee, Tok, YongCai, Yuhao and suping work there.
Thanks for the 23th sep shift people for doing about 80% of the work. LOL so we didnt do much things over there =XXX
I'll be working as a trolley boy + putting rejected goods by customer back to the respectative places.
Actually i still prefers being a cashier.
Ended work at 5pm.
Off to Airport T1 for dinner
den next is the best part.
We went to Clarke Quay for the JC Sum Impossible Journey Performance.
He is known as the best illusionist in Asia.
In that performance he would teleport 3 people from a spot to another spot about 250metres away in 2.5 sec!
omg after seeing that i couldnt believe my eyes and keep wondering how the hell he did that lol

Met Jw at sengkang interchange to take bus 87 to Ubi CDC.
Enrolled driving class 3. Manual Transmission Vehicle =)
My aim is get a official license by next year june =x
although i don't have a car. But i'll borrow my bro's if possible =x
Sort of argued with the auntie at the top up kiosk for driving lessons. Just because of 1cent =.='
After enrolling, we headed our way home.

Ate lunch at eunos before taking bus 15 home.

Hi everyone im back, and i'll do mass updates starting for many many days xD
as im working at Singapore Expo.

okay, i shall start with updates on last sunday.

Sunday 21th sep:
A rather great day...yeah.
Start off with the afternoon...lunch-ed out at The Central Shopping Centre wif my parents.
Upon going up the carpark...i lost count of the number of rounds of circle my dad took while driving up til the electronic parking system =.="
Ate at the food court, seriously the food is rather lousy =/
and duno issit becoz i had a bad stomach ytd or its the food problem.
I "lao sai-ed" 3 times. Crap.
From the outside, the shopping mall looks big...but from the inside, it doesnt. Or maybe i've not explorered everything =/
Bought a polo tee from FreshBox.
Followed by going with my dad to the temple
Next...Old Town White Coffee at east coast.
Crap thats the place i "lao sai-ed" the 2nd time, but has nth to do with the food there.
And the food is much much much much better than The Central food court.
After 1.5 years or 2 years. I tried golfing again =X
Used to be my cca in sec sch, although i didnt excel, but i nv drop the cca and keep trying...
But for some crap shit reason, i've got kick out from the cca. Thanks to Mr Shawn Chew, my cca incharge who is also my form teacher in sec 1. wth =.="

Ah yes this is the best part, meet up with MapleStory GuildMates at airport T3.
Although i've quitted maple close to about 6mths ago.
Its still great to keep in contact with them. And they are really friendly. Some of them i already met them before in the past.
Start off as Uncle Ben (opps) is meeting his other maple friends as well, me and xunxiong tagged along. Total of 5 of us and had dinner at MOF. Food was nice.
Next Uncle Ben drove us down to orchard to pick up Joelyn.
Next rushed down to T3 and meet the rest.
Had supper at The Coffee Club with a total of 8 of us.

But its really nice knowing them all.

ok im hereby to declare that during a long long holiday...a holiday job is definitely very impt. Not to let yourself rot or not to spend lots of money.

7 weeks of holiday...i've only got a 2 week job =/

ok today...
as usual i went bowling. Which i always do at least once a week. As i wanted to join a league next year xD
im thinking too far but that is my aim xD

bowling wif xunxiong, ck, junjie and junhao.
i shall say...i've improved a little..
yes a twinny bit =D
average of 123 in 9 games.
Highest score was 144.
Far from the lowest expectation from entering a league to at least getting a 10th position? or maybe 20th =/
apart from bowling, drama is another way of killing time.
i am anticipating next week as i finally get to work.

Yo im back and i got back at 12am ytd so im too tired and i'll post 2 days at once.

ok 13th sep.
ah yes!
this is a very big day...
its the wedding day of my sister! Photos i'll upload once the photographer give us the pictures :)
woke up at 6am to prepare for morning tradition procedure and im so called an impt person =D
as i am the door opener when the groom reaches.
The gate crashing part was the fun part where the groom have to go thru certain obstacles set up by the bride's jiemei =X
Lasted for abt 25min.
after getting in...2nd round of obstacle but easier where he have to sing a song to my sis before getting in.
After that would be photo taking session and off my sis to the groom side for tea ceremony and then come back for tea ceremony too.
Afternoon...
went for hairstyling at hair fusion and i love my hairstyle.
4.30pm reached marina mandrian hotel as my mum had to do make up that its done by the makeup artist.
6pm is the ROM and 7pm is the point of time where relatives and friends start coming in for the wedding dinner.
8.30pm is the start of the wedding dinner.
I love the 8 dishes that are being served and feels rather shiok to be seated at the bridal table.
honestly speaking, my sister is gorgeous on that day :D

i'll miss quarreling with u sister HAHA. =x

a rather simple day out wif parents for lunch and some simpl shopping and then back home.

Ah 10sep results day. Everyone is anticipating it yeah ?
me too! =D
but after looking at the results... i'd "wtf"
my cgpa dropped =(
now i am even further apart from hitting the bare minimum for university admission.

2.2, 3.1 and 3.2 is my final chance to bring up my cgpa.
ah yes i shall chiong! oh well...actions speaks louder than words..
i might get even lazier in next sem =x
but i'll kick that stupid habit =) heh.
perhaps i'll have to use this holiday for some self studying for programming as my programming sucks. And also to do some self reflection on my attitude :) and its time to go mature as im 18 =XXX

ah lets cut down on these sad stuffs...look forward man :)

nvm i'll continue to train...aim to join a tournament by mid next year. Any tournament wil do but not for those masters =)
Went back home at 3pm as i need to be in school by 5pm for booth tending in TP convention centre.
Its actually a band concert!
and therefore School of IIT decided to set up a booth to introduce our year 3 projects and advertise our course to the people who goes to the concert as another IT diploma assist in creating animation for the concert.
Its the Singapore Winds Symphony Youth Winds concert..
manage to catch the 1st half...its great man!

Wahahahahaha im back from class chalet!
chalet was great man!
its the best among all the 3 class chalets since year 1.
As this time its well planned =)
Many thanks to Cheryl and her friend for helping us booking the Home Team NS chalet!

1st day...
Helped out wif tok on carryin things by going to his house as there are many things to get. And oh yeah, he helped alot in cooking...thanks man :)
Upon reaching the chalet...we put our things down and we all push all the beds from the 4 rooms into one room.
Followed by renting bicycles. Cycle around pasir ris park and also cycle to E!hub to get dishwasher and sponge as we forgot.
Cycle back...omg it rained and seriously my bicycle brake sucks.
Back to chalet, i changed my bike.
After that we cycled to tampines street 21 for dinner.
bad thing is before we set off...my seat is lose...and guess wad, the rental shop uncle went home.
how nice...
thinking that it wont be that lose...i cycled.
As distance goes by, it gets damn loose...
no choice but to cycle there and back..
when back to chalet, my ass hurts =/
Now is know why issit $15 for 2 days of rental =.=
after that we opened one bottle of vodka that jiabao bought.
We combined wif ribena to make it taste better...
i know my limits and its the first time i actually drink vodka...i drank one cup. Not to worry..im sober :)
As we going wild wild wet and bbq and job briefing the following day...i slept at 4am instead of staying up the whole day.

2nd day...
Suppose to wake up at around 7.45am to get prepared..
but some of us woke up at 6 plus due to suping rawr!!
make noise asking us to wake up lol =X
Me, Yu Hao and Yong Cai left chalet at 8.30 to meet xunxiong and kiayee at pasir ris interchange to go city hall for robinsons' warehouse sale briefing.
Thinking i could get a cashier post but end up i got logistic assistant =.=
but nvm, its better than no job :)
Back to chalet, we went wild wild wet...
overall...fun!
Time passes very quick...its 6.30pm...
we gotta go back to chalet to prepare bbq...
All of us take turn to help out in the bbq.
We manage to finish 90% of the food yay =D
at 12am...all 16 of us are at the chalet...
And jiayu bought another bottle of vodka and now we got 2...
We open 2 bottle and share amomg all of us. But we play games den drink instead of just drinking.
since its 2 bottles, all of us definitely drink more...
Overall was alright juz that we had to clear some vomit LOL
haha! but its not me :)
feeling rather tired, i slept at 3am and woke up at arnd 10am
checking out at 11am so we had to do some clearing up and packing up.
Checked out and went for breakfast and play abit of arcade.

Went home and i went out again to celebrate mark and nick bday at newton circle.

ok 30th aug...

its RSAF Open House 2008!
ok its my 1st time there so im actually rather lookin forward to it.

Headed down to rsaf open house wif ck and his 3 classmates. And also wif xunxiong, kiayee and alex.
upon reaching there
got thru the entrance and i only saw like 5 planes...
at first i was think...wth like this only ? =.=
ok actually the real airshow is actually need some walking in...
lol.
its a very grand event wif lots of aircraft and its really fascinating!
after walking a lil distance from the main extrance.
the demonstration is great too.

and i applied for the aircraft ride on the F-50
but sadly i have no luck in the lucky draw =/
but overall the experience is great!

ok went back to evss to visit our nice nice teachers...
meet up wif samuel and chun kiat first.
Mark and nick and the rest would catch up on us at a later time as they hav school.
planned to play bowling in the noon we we put our bowling balls at his house first.

back to evss...a lil slight change in the school.
but my teachers are still around except miss leon =/
miss tan...i mean mrs audrey chua is having a baby girl soon! wow congratz.
Same goes to Mr harold goh going to be a father soon in maybe 1 or 2 mths.

oh yes...i've cleared 2/4 subjects for main exams!
im juz 2 days more to go!
this is how i feel for both paper so far...

DSAG - alright, rather manageable...did with satisfactory. But would not confirm an A Grade...but well...i did my best ! =)

DBSY - ok this is my worst subject in this semester. Did rather badly for term test in june. Nv had much confidence in this subject. But this time round, i manage to find it abit manageable. yay! But probably juz a low C. but nvm =)

this 2 papers so far had boost my confidence to fight for the remaining 2 papers =)

den can have fun! =)

went to attend DBSY revision lecture today..
for the first time, there is acually more than 20 ppl!
and for the first time, we've got a better lecturer..
We shld had that lecturer since the start of this semester...
instead of the "read directly from the slides" lecturer =/
got back my DBSY assignment and lab test results

followed by lunch at tampines mall..
went to try our luck at the same time by apply for event crew for the F1 racing.

Heya im back!
yes, its my 3rd day of celebration from my class.
They bought a cake! to celebrate for those whose bday is on aug. We do that every month. Unless non of our bday falls on that certain mth.
and yes, we love extreme celebrations...and this is the extreme cake of the year!!... so far..
o.O this is the pink-ki-est cake i ever ate in my life lol.

Usual practice, sabo-ing on ppl's bday.
Not as bad as teeming's last week =X
we made weiquan stand on the chair at mensa and sang bday song to him.
teeming's was water bombed! =D and wore pink boxers

While walkin to lesson, block 1 security camera broke, wow who did that man lol.

After school went to buy present for weiquan wif aaron, yongcai, cheryl, desmond, christopher and teeming. I shall not disclose wad we bought =X
While looking for gifts we decided to be funny and wore some sunglasses.

Woke up at 6am...getting prepared for the mizuno wave run 2008, together with meiyun and peifung jiejie.
Race starts at 7.30...10km run is seriously long. But i managed to complete it in abt 1hr 15min, meiyun completed in abt 1hr13min, peifung jiejie completed at abt 1hr16min. Exact timing will be out on 1st august.
Felt the sense of satisfaction as its de first time running 10km =))))
gotta join another long distance run in the future =D

ahh my this 2 days of break end seriously too fast =/
tmr will be another busy week.
i cant wait for 7th august!
this day marks an end to assignments!

Here comes a sentosa outing.
Idea by Miss Hwee Shan, yes ur the main organizer, credits to you for a gd outing.
Meet HweeShan, Meiyun, Xunxiong, JunWei for a sentosa trip.
Reach there at abt 1pm.
First station, Washing leg! lol no lah...we are juz playing water in the snake-like shape pond.
Followed by walking to palawan to watch the animal show, featuring the monkey called mickey.
Also went to take a look at the Temasek Poly Tourism Academy. Nice lah. Too nice until go toilet also need use access card =/
Followed by picnic, no doubt, ham and cheese sandwish is nice.
After that went to the 4D cineplex for a simulator ride, omg the queue is so damn long. No choice but gotta skip it.
Off to exit sentosa and meet xiaopang at city hall.
Got my new balance shoe. My reebok broke =/
Followed by dinner, suppose to go pizza hut, but theres long queue =(
so went food court instead at marina square.
Off to home

OOAD Lab Test -> Wed 11am
OOAD Assignment Submission -> Wed 11am
DBSY Assignment Submission -> Thur 12pm
Monday -> Wednesday = stay back to do DBSY =/
CMSK Presentation (formative feedback) -> Thur 2pm
Economics Portfolio (formative feedback) -> Fri 10am
I seriously need a break after this friday.

Lets get back to to summary for ytd and today.
i'll start with ytd...

Went back to school wif yongcai and jiabao to touchup on DBSY assignment
We finished the ERD diagram in awhiles time =))
Lab was supposed to close at 1pm.
but at 12.45pm, all the com auto shut down...
thank goodness that i had saved all my work and backup on a thumbdrive. phew!
Followed by lunch with yongcai, jiabao, suping, cheryl, weiquan and tok at tampines mall.

After that met meiyun to collect the mizuno race pack at Singapore Youth Centre.
lol couldnt find the building and end up walking one big round around somerset. We are indeed mountain tortoise LOL.
collect the tag number, 1598 O.O
followed by shopping for her student's present and head back home.
